Abstract

Development is a process through which human life and social system progress towards betterment. Development is a planned and continous process. Mass Media institutions play a significant role for people and government to progress development in the society. Mass Media also highlight the factors that impede or unstable the development process. Role of communication process is very important for the achievement of development targets. This research is done to
study the CPEC development project in respect to the role of communication. The results through content analysis method are analyzed in light of agenda setting and diffusion of innovation theories.The study verifies the significance of role of communication in the development process
